The World Wild Web

The web was meant to be wild. somewhere along the way, we forgot this. robotameri.ca

A digital garden is what happens when we remember the internet is embedded in geology and nature._

When it remembers that text is a seed. That links are mycelium. That websites, too, can be an ecosystems.

We need to tend the space between words and worlds, leave room for nature and the gods, and let form dance and become poetry.

The web can be wild and poetic again. it takes intention and the patience of a gardener.


The World Wide Web was much more wild back in the day. There was something compelling and exciting about logging on and not knowing which avenue you were going to find yourself exploring. It was supposed to be a web, a network connecting people across the world, enabling like-minded people to find each other.
